Activity

Our hospital was founded by the Brothers of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God in 1763. From 1995 onwards, it was operated by the Hungarian Branch of the Charity Service of the Order of Malta for 16 years. Since 2011, the hospital belongs again to the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God.

Our 120-bed hospital treats chronic patients. We do not have any out-patient services. We care for our patients on four floors. Our newly-built 4th floor houses only single and double rooms in order to provide care at a higher level of comfort in exchange for a fee. Due to the profile of our institution, we care for patients for a period of 3-6 months, depending on their medical condition.

It is very important for us to treat our patients in the spirit of hospitality, the trademark of the Saint John of God Brothers. Therefore, our hospital services include health care chaplaincy and church services in our chapel.

No visitors are allowed in this period of time.
